Woofing you all a Happy New Year
This is going to be a great year. There will be plenty of hype about the Beijing Paralympic Games. I am looking forward to all the holidays that I will have when Lindy & Toireasa had to go away for training camps and competitions.
The pairs have a lot of work to do before getting to Beijing for the opening ceremony on the 6th September. Firstly, they have to qualify for the team. The National Track Championships will be a very important milestone.
Read on to find out about:

Come along and support them, at the same time, you can watch the best Cyclists in Australia viting for the Olympic and Paralympic spots. Among them are many World Champions, Olympic Champions and Commonwealth Games Champions.
Everyone who came along to last year’s Cup had a great night. They were treated to some great racing from among the best in Australia. Of cause, the tandem racing got the crowd on their feet. For those who missed out last year, you can come along to this year’s event.
This year’s Cup will attract even more high profile riders as it is the lead up event to the National Track Championships. Once again, Lindy & Toireasa will feature in the Tandem Racing Program.
26th Clarence Street Cyclery Cup
Saturday 2nd of February
Main program begins at 6.30pm (heats begin at 4pm)
Dunc Gray Velodrome, Bass Hill
Once again, I am going to be the Australia Day Ambassador.
Oops, I mean Lindy is going to be and I will proudly accompany her.
We will stay home and attend the breakfast at Melwood Park, Narrabeen where Lindy will give an Australia Day Address to the wonderful folks from the Warringah area.
If you are in the area, come & join us for the Australia Day breakfast starting at 7:30am. The flag raising ceremony begins at 8:30am.
I feature in the New Idea Magazine. Actually there was very little said about me, all it said was that Lindy has not taught me how to hold a steering wheel! I wonder if she realise that I can’t actually hold the steering wheel and reach the pedals at the same time! At least my photo is in it, that is a thousand words, isn’t it?
For those of you who like to see the “thousand words” , see the attached PDF file.
That is all for now.
